Brumbies Womens Head Coach Adam Butt has made four changes to his side to take on the Melbourne Rebels Women at Seiffert Oval this Sunday.
Wallaroo bookend Violeta Tupuola comes in to the front row alongside the experienced Louise Burrows and Peta Cox.
Emily Sogal and Skipper, Shellie Milward start again at Lock, both having been impressive last week albeit in a hard fought loss to the Waratahs. In the backrow, Michaela Leonard, Georgia O’Neill and Tayla Stanford form a trio which has a real quality look to it, all three being on the radar for National selection.
Remi Wilton and Claudia Obst represent a brand new halfback pairing for the Brumbies, Wilton was one of their best performers in 2018 and will provide plenty of threat around the ruck.
Sammie Wood and Michelle Perry are retained in the centres, with Brooke Gilroy and debutant, Biola Dawa occupying wings.
Rachel Crothers out the Brumbies starters, her performance from fullback was one of the many highlights of last weeks game.In the finishers, Harriet Elleman provides the hooker cover, with Stephanie Stewart-Jones and Paige Penning the prop reserves for the Seiffert Oval tussle.
Grace Kemp and Irene Macarthur complete the 5/3 bench split.Jane Garraway, Emily McDonald and Darcy Reed are all likely to have important roles to play off the bench, providing some spark to bring the Brumbies Women their first victory of 2019.
