The CA Brumbies have celebrated the return of Matt Giteau and Justin Harrison to Canberra Stadium with a 24-13 win over the Lions tonight.
The win, which also marked Rocky Elsom’s first home appearance for the province, extended the CA Brumbies’ unbeaten run at Canberra Stadium over the Lions (formerly the Cats) to nine matches.
The Brumby Runners have comprehensively defeated the Australian Barbarians 40-0 at Canberra Stadium this evening.
The Runners piled on five first-half tries to lead 33-0 at the break with fullback Jesse Mogg scoring an outstanding chip-and-regather try from his own 22-metre line on the stroke of half time.
The Brumby Runners have included five CA Brumbies in their starting XV to take on the Australian Barbarians tomorrow at Canberra Stadium.
The match will feature CA Brumbies Jerry Yanuyanutawa, Sitaleki Timani, Henry Vanderglas, Alfie Mafi and Andrew Smith as the curtain-raiser to the CA Brumbies first home match of the season against the Lions.
