CA Brumbies' membership continues to grow with ACT Minister for Sport and Recreation Andrew Barr signing up as a member for the 2009 Investec Super 14 season.
While non-ticketed memberships begin from just $35, the CA Brumbies will host six blockbuster home matches in 2009 against the Waratahs, Force, Blues, Stormers, Bulls and reigning Champions, the Crusaders.
The CA Brumbies Wallaby contingent has begun arriving back at training with Ben Alexander, Mark Chisholm and Peter Kimlin returning to the squad for their first session of 2009 today at Griffith Oval.
The remainder of the sides Australian representatives will resume training on Monday, 12 January.
Canberras Premier Division John I Dent Cup will benefit from a renewed push to re-introduce CA Brumbies players into the local ACT rugby competition.
Seven CA Brumbies-contracted players have already committed to remaining in Canberra for the club rugby season with that figure expected to increase prior to the end of the 2009 Investec Super 14.
